Job Title: Utility Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Utility Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for learning and operating equipment associated with extrusion or the tube mill, handling aluminum products, and ensuring quality standards are met. This position involves a comprehensive training program that will prepare you to operate, support, and move materials on and off machines using lifting techniques and hoists.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and assist in the operation of extrusion or casting equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

+ Engage with the press team to learn operations related to the aluminum extrusion department.

+ Report and review any unusual conditions to lead operators or supervisors.

+ Collaborate with team members and management to meet daily production goals.

+ Start as a utility worker, gaining experience in machine operating, quality control, packing, and inspecting across all departments.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or production support.

+ Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operations.

+ Proficiency with hand tools, forklifts, and quality control measures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Chesterfield, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.31 - $20.31/hr.
