    Job Title: General Utility Worker** **Job Description

     

    As a General Utility Worker, you will assist with production and maintenance tasks across all areas of the plant under the guidance of experienced workers. You will observe and learn operational methods, including the operation of plant equipment and machinery. Your role will include performing general labor duties throughout the plant and grounds, serving as a temporary relief operator in training, and assisting in the makeup and delivery of process supplies. Additionally, you will train to perform the duties of a forklift operator as required.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate or attend auxiliary production equipment such as automatic brushing machines, die‑cast equipment, dinking tools, and material regrind systems.

    + Perform clerical tasks connected with plant operations as needed.

    + Train to operate forklifts and assist with unloading, loading, and inventory management.

    + Serve as a temporary relief operator, taking on regular operational tasks under supervision.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.

    + Experience using a RF scanner or other forms of pallet tracking.

    + Ability to work up to 12 hours in a day and be flexible with hours.

    + Capability to lift propane tanks when forklifts need changing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Inventory control skills.

    + Experience using SAP.

    Work Environment

    Candidates will be working in the warehouse and occasionally will travel between the warehouse and manufacturing plant using covered tuggers. The work environment is fast-paced, and you will be required to adapt to changing conditions.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.60 - $20.60/hr.
