Job Description

Join a leading building product manufacturer in the glazing department as a Assembler. This role is essential in material handling and preparing windows, which includes tasks such as caulking. This position offers you an opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

+ Handle materials and perform preparation work for windows, which may include caulking.

+ Utilize mechanical skills to operate various tools and equipment.

+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Ability to read a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in carpentry, caulking, glazing, and framing is a plus.

+ Familiarity with tools such as saws, drills, and other hand and power tools.

+ Experience with machine operation, including CNC, press brake, and metal fabrication.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean manufacturing facility with a team of 105 individuals in production. The work environment is safe and fairly climate-controlled. Candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots while on the floor and should be able to work well in a team setting. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of starting as early as 4:30 AM for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of COLUMBUS, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
