    Job Description

    Join our team as an Assembler where you will contribute to the production of large HVAC units in one of our state-of-the-art manufacturing plants. As part of our dynamic team, you will gain valuable experience in a clean and organized environment, working on a first shift schedule from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime opportunities are available and may become mandatory with notice from the production supervisor.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform repetitive assembly work at one of 7-9 stations, based on training and facility needs.

    + Assemble large AC units for commercial buildings, including hospitals and apartment complexes.

    + Utilize hand tools and power tools daily.

    + Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety training.

    + Learn and perform tasks such as brazing, soldering, operating machines, hanging and unhanging parts, and conducting quality checks.

    + Report any malfunctions or defects to the production supervisor.

    + Progressively learn to understand and work from blueprints.

    Skills & Qualifications

    + 6+ months of manufacturing experience.

    + Physical ability to bend, twist, and climb into AC units for assembly purposes and lift up to 40 pounds.

    + 1 year of assembly experience.

    + Experience with hand tools and power tools.

    + Electrical and mechanical experience.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a temperature-controlled and exceptionally clean environment with well-organized stations equipped with all necessary tools. The facility is new and continues to develop testing stations for these large units. Enjoy the camaraderie of working alongside team members and receive guidance from a lead tech during your first few weeks

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kentwood, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
