HIRING: Welder & Fabricator – $30-40/hr

TONAWANDA, NY | $30-40/hr | 2nd shift 3pm - 11:30pm

**Step into a role where your craftsmanship directly shapes advanced overhead crane systems** used across major industrial environments. We’re looking for an experienced Welder & Fabricator who takes pride in precision work, thrives on custom builds, and enjoys leading by example. With a **full one‑year backlog of projects** , you’ll have steady, meaningful work and the chance to make a real impact on a growing operation.

•️ What You’ll Do

+ Lead welding & fabrication efforts on **custom structural crane projects** during 2nd shift

+ Work hands‑on with **MIG, flux core, and occasional sub‑arc** welding on A36 steel

+ Collaborate with and guide a small team: **1 production welder + 1 shop hand**

+ **Interpret blueprints, oversee fabrication start‑to‑finish, and ensure accuracy**

+ **Maintain quality, craftsmanship, and safety on every project**

+ **Keep the workspace clean, organized, and ready for the next build**

• What You Bring

+ **4–5+ years** MIG & flux core welding experience

+ Strong fabrication and blueprint interpretation skills

+ Experience working with **A36 structural steel**

+ **Ability to direct and assist a small support team**

+ **Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM)** with occasional OT

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

+ Sub‑arc welding

+ TIG or Stick welding

+ OSHA 10 certification

+ Surface prep, grinding, sanding, polishing skills

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
