    Job Title: 2nd Shift Packaging** **Job Description

     

    Join our team working on a dynamic food packaging production line where you'll be responsible for weighing and packaging food servings into dishes. You'll work with a variety of foods including meats, pastas, rice, and vegetables. This role requires standing throughout the entire shift and involves repetitive tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate on a food packaging production line efficiently.

    + Weigh food servings accurately for packaging.

    + Fill dishes with the correct food items as per daily requirements.

    + Ensure food items are packaged correctly and meet quality standards.

    + Perform repetitive tasks consistently throughout the shift.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packaging and visual inspection.

    + Ability to perform general labor tasks.

    + Comfortable standing for prolonged periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Capability to work overtime as needed.

    + Comfortable working in environments ranging from 53 to 34 degrees.

    + Must adhere to specific hygiene requirements including wearing a hair net and smock/lab coat.

    Work Environment

    The work takes place in a food production environment with temperatures consistently maintained between 52-53 degrees, while the Weigh Pack/Cold Room is at 34 degrees. Employees are required to wear a hair net and smock/lab coat, and beard covers if applicable. Jewelry, including wedding rings, is prohibited on the production floor.

    The pay range for this position is $32552.00 - $32552.00/yr.
