    Job Title: General Labor** **Job Description

     

    This general labor position involves assisting in various tasks across the facility as needed. Duties include blasting parts, washing and trimming parts, moving supplies, organizing parts, and assisting with shipping and receiving. Additionally, general shop cleaning and organization are required.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine machine setup and material requirements.

    + Operate grinding tools, fixtures, and blocks to meet specifications.

    + Operate robotic cells and work in FanDuct Flow Line as needed.

    + Understand and apply grinding media to achieve finish requirements.

    + Perform finishing operations such as breaking edges, chamfering, and blending surfaces.

    + Use hand tools, bench grinders, and sanders to remove flashings and burrs.

    + Properly position and use dust hoods and collectors to ventilate workspace safely.

    + Inspect and measure finished workpieces using gauges, micrometers, and profilometer.

    + Perform simple grinding and cutting operations as directed.

    + Conduct daily and weekly maintenance on grinding equipment and tools, including oiling, cleaning, and inspection.

    + Accurately complete production and quality logs.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.

    + Proficiency in operating grinding tools and fixtures.

    + Experience in robotic cell operation and FanDuct Flow Line work.

    + Knowledge of grinding media and finishing operations.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and various grinders and sanders.

    + Experience in safe ventilation practices.

    + Skill in using measuring instruments like gauges and micrometers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of manufacturing experience.

    Work Environment

    Work is conducted in a large manufacturing facility with two locations in New Berlin. The position is for the 1st shift, running from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of New Berlin, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.

     

    Vacation Policy: After 120-day probationary period, will receive 40 hours of vacation and 24 hours of personal time until next anniversary date. At anniversary, 80 hours of vacation

    2nd shift Premium: $1.50 on all worked/non worked hours

    Overtime: Over 8 hours worked

    Doubletime: Over 10 hours worked
