    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled mechanical assembler to join our team. You will primarily be responsible for brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch, ensuring each unit meets custom specifications. This role involves cutting piping to length, brazing it together, and assembling the housing for these units. You will need to interpret blueprints and work collaboratively to ensure all projects meet customer needs. This position requires considerable physical activity, including bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.

    Responsibilities

    + Brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch.

    + Cutting piping to required lengths based on custom specifications.

    + Assembling housing for units as per blueprints.

    + Interpreting and working from blueprints to meet customer needs.

    + Collaborating in teams to ensure project completion.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude with at least 3 months of experience in mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction.

    + Proficiency in using a tape measure for precise cutting.

    + Experience with brazing and mechanical assembly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with schematic and blueprint interpretation.

    + Familiarity with hand tools and general labor tasks.

    + Experience in welding, particularly entry-level MIG welding on mild steel, is advantageous.

    + Experience in farming machinery repair or car maintenance is beneficial.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
