    We are seeking a full-time, experienced Grounds Technician. Responsible for supporting property services, grounds work, and turnover season operations. Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and overtime/weekends as needed.

     

    $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on skills/experience.

    Summary/Objective

    To maintain all outdoor and common areas in a safe and attractive condition. The Grounds Worker is a vital component of our community’s day to day impression on existing residents and prospective residents. As such the Grounds Worker is expected to maintain a high level of quality customer service and professionalism and ensure that property has the highest level of curb appeal 365 days a year for MSC Apartments. This is a seasonal, part-time position with responsibilities for assigned projects.

    Essential Functions

    + Trash pickup around grounds and dumpsters; service dog waste stations

    + Sweep, mop, and scrub stairwells (scheduled routine work)

    + Drive company truck and trailer (trailer-pulling experience required)

    + Operate equipment: mower, weed eater, blower, chainsaw

    + Retention pond cutbacks and bush/brush clearing

    + Complete small repair jobs (gates, speed bumps, assembly, etc.)

    + Communicate clearly with management and crew regarding completed work

     

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

     

    This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with some work outside these hours based on business demands. MUST BE AVAILABLE for snow removal operations at varying hours during snow events.

    Travel/ Driving

    • Driving a Company vehicle with trailer is required

    • Must have valid drivers license

    Required Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma/GED
