Job Description: Operations Support Associate (1 per

shift)

Role Overview

The Operations

Support Associate provides proactive floor support across Zones 1, 2, and 3 to

reduce safety risks, prevent prohibited items from entering automated areas,

and ensure compliant intervention practices. This role serves as a key partner

to Operations and Safety teams, helping maintain a safe and efficient workflow

throughout designated zones.

Key Responsibilities

+ Conduct walk-throughs every 2 hours across Zones 1, 2, and 3 to monitor cases pushed through driveways and identify operational risks.

+ Identify, remove, and prevent aerosol cans and other prohibited items from entering or remaining in designated zones.

+ Ensure that only LOTO‑certified individuals perform intervention or recovery tasks; escalate any non‑compliance.

+ Provide an additional layer of operational support to reduce risks associated with manual handling and movement up and down driveways.

+ Escalate unsafe conditions, repeat violations, or behavioral trends to Operations and Safety leadership for corrective action.

Shift Structure

This role

operates on four 12‑hour teams (2 day shifts, 2 night shifts). Each team works 3 days one week / 4 days the next, with every other Wednesday rotating.

Shift 1 — Days

+ 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

+ Sunday – Tuesday + every other Wednesday

Shift 2 — Nights

+ 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

+ Sunday – Tuesday + every other Wednesday

Shift 3 — Days

+ 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

+ Wednesday/Thursday – Saturday + every other Wednesday

Shift 4 — Nights

+ 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

+ Wednesday/Thursday – Saturday + every other Wednesday

Qualifications

+ Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and compliance.

+ Ability to walk the floor continuously and maintain zone visibility.

+ Clear, concise communication skills to escalate issues appropriately.

+ Prior operations, warehouse, or safety support experience preferred but not required.

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Marcy, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
