Position Overview
We are seeking full-time Special Education Teachers in Seguin, TX to support Life Skills classrooms across multiple grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school). The educator will provide high-quality instructional services to students with diverse needs and will collaborate with school teams to implement individualized student programs.
Pay Rate: $48/hr
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Assignment Duration: ASAP – May 21, 2026
Responsibilities
+ Provide learning activities that support students’ intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development.
+ Deliver instruction aligned to individual student ability levels.
+ Conduct ongoing informal and formal assessments to monitor student progress.
+ Support students in both group and 1:1 settings, working alongside paraprofessionals, behavior technicians, and nursing staff.
+ Implement specialized instruction within Life Skills classroom environments.
Classroom & Caseload Details
+ Life Skills classroom ratios average 1:3.
+ Caseloads typically range from 8–12 students with para support.
+ Additional 1:1 supports provided for students with designated needs.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by district/state regulations
+ Special Education Certification required
+ High School: Gen Ed EC–12 + SPED
+ Elementary: SPED EC–6
+ LBS1 or equivalent endorsement preferred
+ At least one year of teaching experience (preferred)
+ Meets all federal, state, and local compliance requirements
+ Current CPR, TB test, and health certificate, if applicable
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
Interview Format
+ Virtual interviews (in-person may be preferred when possible)
