    Job Description:

    + Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.

    + Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.

    + Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.

    + Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

    + Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Excellent interpersonal skill set, demonstrating compassion and respect to patients and family undergoing stressful procedures and treatments. [Required]

    • Works independently, self-motivated, takes direction from physician and management to complete assignments. [Required]

    • Maintain safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, computer, IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, I-STAT, Immediate use sterilization policy and procedures. [Required]

    • Must be proficient in English [Required]

    • Ability to communicate effectively [Required]

    • EMR charting [Required]

    • Computer literate [Preferred]

    • Cerner [Preferred]

    • Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department [Required]
