    Job Duties

    Develop efficient, scalable software using Java, C#, Python, .NET, Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs

     

    Enhance, maintain, and modernize on-prem and PaaS applications, including migration to AWS

     

    Design and implement serverless and container-based architectures

     

    Build and maintain industry-standard APIs, including routing, connectivity, and policy enforcement

     

    Design architecture patterns optimized for SLAs, reliability, performance, and cost

     

    Anticipate downstream impacts of technical decisions and future system needs

     

    Promote and practice software craftsmanship, including TDD/BDD, automation, CI/CD

     

    Monitor and improve performance using metrics, trends, and cost analysis

     

    Ensure security, compliance, and privacy standards are incorporated early in development

     

    Identify, resolve, and prevent technical debt

     

    Actively participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

     

    Lead and participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

     

    Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

     

    Create and maintain technical documentation and playbooks

     

    Analyze and communicate tradeoffs between usability and performance

     

    Administer product upgrades and patches

     

    Provide production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for applications and systems

     

    Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation

    ### Minimum Education Required

    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

     

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    Minimum Experience / Qualifications

     

    2+ years of hands-on development experience with Java, Full-stack, C#, .NET, and/or Python

    Strong experience with:

    Java, J2EE, Spring (Boot, Batch, REST)

     

    JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS

    XML, JSON

    Database and scripting experience:

    Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL

     

    Shell scripting

    CI/CD and DevOps experience:

    GitHub and/or GitLab

     

    GitLab CI/CD

     

    Jenkins, CircleCI

     

    SonarQube

    Testing and automation experience:

    JUnit

     

    TDD/BDD methodologies

     

    WireMock, Mockito

     

    Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, ReadyAPI

    Cloud and infrastructure experience:

    AWS services including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, ECS, EKS

     

    DynamoDB, PostgreSQL

     

    Athena, SageMaker

     

    Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations

     

    Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools such as VersionOne/Agility

     

    Strong troubleshooting, deployment, and performance optimization skills

     

    Ability to translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions

     

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

     

    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain effective under pressure

     

    Willingness to adapt, learn, and take on challenges beyond immediate comfort zones

    Experience with:

    AWS CloudFormation (CFT)

     

    Docker, OpenShift

     

    IBM MQ / event-driven processing

     

    Strong understanding of security standards and compliance requirements
