Job Summary: The X-Ray Technician I will perform highly skilled duties involving x-ray operation and inspection.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Operate radiographic equipment and perform radiographic inspections.

2. Recommended minimum of 1-year experience in a production or quality role.

3. Meet qualifications (experience, training, tests, and vision) to be certified as a Level I X-Ray Technician and maintain certification.

4. Assist with other quality assurance inspections and testing as assigned

5. Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

1. High School diploma or GED

2. Good interpersonal skills including customer interactions

3. Good communication skills, both oral and written

4. Ability to establish credibility and be decisive

5. Good organizational skills

6. Ability to be attentive to accuracy and detail

7. Good record keeping skills

8. Ability to follow projects through to completion

9. Ability to read

10. Must have 12th grade math skills

11. Ability to read and follow instructions carefully

12. Must have the ability to perform a wide variety of duties with minimal supervision

13. Must be proficient with MS office, including Outlook and Excel

14. Must have predictable on site attendance

15. Must be able to work in team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

1. Must submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes random testing

2. Must have good vision (may be corrected)

3. Must not be color blind

4. Must have no known hearing loss

5. Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time

6. Must be able to climb ladders, steps and/or onto step stools and endure high places

7. Must be able to perform all motions necessary to dig ditches

8. Must be able to endure sunshine and weather extremes

9. Must be able to endure fumes that are within OSHA accepted standards

10. Must have stamina to work more than the scheduled workday when needed; including nights and weekends

11. Must be able to pick up, handle, and otherwise work paper

12. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

13. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (<85 dBA), however in some instances this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.

14. Must be able to operate a joystick controller and computer mouse.
