    The Hardware Support Technician provides on-site end-user support within the plant environment, ensuring reliable operation of plant-specific hardware and software systems. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining devices used in daily manufacturing and warehouse operations to minimize downtime and support productivity.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide hands-on technical support for plant end users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.

    + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Dell laptops, including OS, imaging, and peripheral connectivity.

    + Support and manage iPhones, including device setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and mobile application support.

    + Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Zebra scanners used for inventory, production, and logistics operations.

    + Install, configure, and support network and local printers, including label and barcode printers.

    + Diagnose and resolve plant-specific hardware and software issues, working closely with operations, production, and warehouse teams.

    + Perform device provisioning, replacements, upgrades, and decommissioning as needed.

    + Document incidents, resolutions, and asset information in the IT ticketing system.

    + Coordinate with corporate IT, vendors, and service providers for escalated issues.

    + Ensure compliance with IT security policies and plant safety standards.

    + Provide basic end-user training and guidance on supported systems and devices.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ years of experience in end-user hardware support, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.

    + Strong working knowledge of:

    + Dell laptops and Windows operating systems

    + iOS devices (iPhones)

    + Zebra scanners and barcode/labeling systems

    + Printers and peripheral devices

    + Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

    + Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT asset management.

    + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.

    + Strong customer service and communication skills.
