    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee day-to-day operations in the PACU, including scheduling, care coordination, and clinical support

    + Assist in building workflows and operational processes for a new hospital unit

    + Support staff training, education, and logistical needs, such as ordering supplies

    + Foster a collaborative, adaptable team environment in a fast-paced, evolving unit

    Qualifications:

    + Education: High School Diploma or GED required; 4-Year/Bachelor’s degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursing program; B.S. in Nursing or related field preferred.

    + Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.

    + BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (required; or must obtain upon hire)

    A Clinical Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who functions as a role model, facilitator, mentor and coach for all clinical and support staff. Helps coordinate work shift activities in the clinical area. Assists the Nurse Manager with continuous quality improvement, personnel utilization, performance appraisals, resource usage and budget management, and maintenance of standards of care. Able to provide care to patients on designated units.
