    The Senior Director, Learning and Growth Portfolio is a senior-level people leader responsible for shaping and executing enterprise-wide strategies in learning and development, skills and capabilities, and career management, with a strong focus on technology- and AI-enabled solutions that empower Danaher associates to learn, grow, and realize their potential. This role is pivotal in enabling Danaher’s business transformation and talent architecture by driving scalable, data-informed, and globally consistent learning and development products that enhance organizational performance and employee experience. The expectation is that the leader will lead a team in applying a Product Management mindset and methodology to the design, development, launch, and management of the products in this portfolio. This role is responsible for driving innovation across the learning and development ecosystem, aligning product strategy to business priorities and integrating with broader HR technologies and processes. This leader will work closely with other talent leaders across Danaher to establish and maintain a strong community of practice.

     

    This position reports to the VP, Talent for Danaher and is part of the enterprise talent team and will be remote. While this role offers remote flexibility, business needs will take precedence. Candidates residing near a Danaher location are expected to spend regular time onsite to foster relationships and ensure effective collaboration.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    + Integrate Talent Product StrategyDefine and execute a cohesive talent development product portfolio aligned with enterprise goals, talent priorities, and employee experience; lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure relevance and impact.

    + Skills Architecture & Capability BuildingDevelop a comprehensive skills framework and introduce accessible, best-in-class learning products that enhance performance, build critical capabilities, and support career progression.

    + Instructional Design & Scalable Learning ExperiencesDesign engaging, high-quality learning solutions tailored to diverse audiences using flexible, scalable instructional design principles and delivery methods.

    + Coaching & Mentoring SolutionsBuild formal and informal coaching and mentoring programs to support performance, leadership, and succession; manage external partnerships and create scalable, differentiated practices across the enterprise.

    + Career Development & Talent MarketplaceCreate transparent career pathways and frameworks; implement a technology-enabled talent marketplace to connect associates with growth opportunities based on skills and aspirations.

    + Product Innovation & Lifecycle ManagementLead end-to-end product development leveraging emerging technologies (AI, analytics, experience platforms) to ensure usability, scalability, and measurable outcomes.

    + Stakeholder Engagement, Measurement & Team LeadershipAdvise senior HR and business leaders on learning strategy; lead change management and impact measurement efforts; build and lead a high-performing team fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

    + 12+ years of experience in learning and development and/or Talent Management.

    + Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Psychology, HR, or related field preferred.

    + Proven track record in leading learning and Talent Management teams and initiatives with measurable business impact.

    + Deep expertise in learning and development methodologies/models and strong understanding of best practices.

    + Expertise with the application of technology and AI in learning solutions, including experience with new and advanced technologies that improve learner skill development and performance.

    + Strong analytical skills and experience, focused on HR systems, data architecture and analytics.

    + Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills across senior leadership levels.

    Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

    + Ability to travel – up to 25% domestically and internationally

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

    + Experience and success in leading enterprise-level product portfolios or platforms across HR domains

    + Experience with platforms such as Workday and other HCM technology tools

    + Ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and strategic actions

    The annual salary range for this role is $170,000 - $245,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

     

    This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
