Seeking an experienced Per Diem Surgical OR Physician Assistant for on-call coverage. You will first-assist surgeons in emergent, multi-specialty surgical cases, including general, ortho, vascular, and robotics. Under physician supervision, you will manage patient needs according to the highest medical standards. Candidates must have relevant OR experience. APNs with RNFA certification will also be considered.

We are seeking candidates who meet one of the following two professional pathways:

For Physician Assistant (PA) Candidates:

+ **Required Education & Certifications:**

+ Graduate of an AMA-accredited Physician Assistant program.

+ Current Physician Assistant License.

+ National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.

+ AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

+ **Preferred Certification:**

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

For Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Candidates:

+ **Required Education & Certifications:**

+ Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program with a Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

+ Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse (RN) License.

+ Current Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) License.

+ Board certification from AANP or ANCC.

+ AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

+ **Preferred Certifications:**

+ Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA).

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

General Skills & Requirements (for all candidates):

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

+ For APNs: Must have or be able to obtain NPI, prescriptive authority (CDS/DEA), and a collaborative agreement.

Minimum rate of $71.54 Hourly

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
