Job Description
**Turner & Townsend** is seeking a **Connectivity Program Manager** responsible for overseeing all low‑voltage, network, and telecommunications infrastructure within a large‑scale data center construction program. This role leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of connectivity; structured cabling, fiber, copper, network racks, pathways, and related telecom systems, while ensuring alignment with construction, design, commissioning, procurement, cost, and governance requirements.
The ideal candidate brings strong program management expertise, stakeholder leadership, technical knowledge of network/low‑voltage systems, and the ability to drive efficient, compliant project delivery across multiple teams and phases.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead end‑to‑end management of the connectivity scope across multiple data center construction projects.
+ Oversee structured cabling installation, fiber and copper pathways, network rooms, racks, terminations, testing, labeling, and network readiness.
+ Coordinate integration with construction, MEP, electrical, design, commissioning, and network activation teams.
+ Ensure adherence to TIA/EIA, BICSI, client‑specific standards, and corporate design consistency.
+ Influence the use of established program management processes, ensuring execution teams adopt defined procedures during each project phase.
+ Promote consistent use of approved information management systems for all documentation, communication, and reporting.
+ Gather design requirements from clients, end users, and stakeholders, and translate them into a program-specific design brief.
+ Validate standardization of design approaches to drive efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and best value.
+ Identify internal and external stakeholders, maintain communication, and secure input at required milestones.
+ Serve as the day‑to‑day stakeholder interface to ensure delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality targets.
+ Ensure all project funding is secured prior to initiating capital works in alignment with governance structures.
+ Define contracting strategies that motivate performance and ensure required outcomes are delivered by execution teams.
+ Establish data‑driven procurement approaches, including prequalification, tendering, evaluation, and contract awards.
+ Oversee vendor and subcontractor performance related to the connectivity scope.
+ Develop master schedules based on historical data and ensure execution teams maintain accurate, up‑to‑date project schedules.
+ Monitor proper collection, storage, and dissemination of project documentation and data.
+ Oversee identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and opportunities across connected projects.
+ Ensure execution teams follow a robust change control process, evaluating scope, cost, schedule, and quality impacts prior to approval.
+ Oversee operational readiness and transition processes, ensuring seamless handover to operational teams and network activation groups.
+ Manage effective project closeout, including analysis of outturn cost, schedule performance, quality, and lessons learned.
+ Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, program enhancements, and best practices.
+ • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
Required
+ Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
+ 5–7+ years of relevant experience in program management, data center construction, or connectivity/low-voltage delivery.
+ Strong understanding of structured cabling systems, network connectivity, telecom infrastructure, and related construction methods.
+ Thorough knowledge of program management best practices, budgeting, forecasting, planning, design, schedule, and scope control.
+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
+ Familiarity with site HSSE policies and requirements.
+ Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project; and competence with data management, analytics, and program management systems.
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred
+ Experience in hyperscale data center environments.
+ BICSI, RCDD, or PMP certification.
+ Experience managing connectivity vendors, cabling contractors, and telecom integrators.
+ Ability to manage multi‑stakeholder delivery in fast‑paced, high‑growth construction programs.
Additional Information
**The salary range for this full-time role is** **$140K-$170K** **per year.** Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
