+ **Title: Business Analyst**
+ **Candidate Location:** Remote
+ **Duration:** 5 Months (Extend is possible based on budget and performance)
+ **Work Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
+ **Time Zone Requirements:**
+ Must meet PST core hours
+ Flexible across U.S. time zones (EST / CST / MST / PST)
+ **Pay Rate Range: $50 to $55/hr** **Key Responsibilities / Projects**
+ Partner with leadership to understand and prioritize budget and headcount needs
+ Manage and track spend for two Engineering client groups
+ Lead quarterly forecasting cycles, monthly close reporting, and accruals
+ Ensure purchase orders are opened on time and aligned with forecasts
+ Approve project budgets and expenditures
+ Monitor costs, transaction controls, and budget adherence
+ Identify potential budget overruns and propose mitigation strategies
+ Collaborate with GMs and headcount teams on incremental and backfill hiring needs **Disqualifiers** Candidates will be disqualified if they have:
+ No hands-on, end-to-end budget management experience with complex or large-scale budgets
+ Weak executive-level communication or stakeholder management skills
+ Limited ability to synthesize financial data into executive-ready insights and presentations
+ Insufficient experience managing both budget and headcount at a senior (Level 5) scale **Required Skills**
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
+ Strong knowledge of business and management principles
+ Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles
+ Strong analytical skills to identify trends and project future revenues and expenses
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
+ Enterprise application experience is a plus **Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
+ 10+ years of relevant experience required **Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills**
1. **Advanced Excel skills**
2. **Financial analysis** , including forecasting and variance analysis
