Our client in Manhattan is seeking an Administrative professional to join their team. As an Admin, you will be part of the administrative team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will have basic computer knowledge, the ability to answer phones and sound professional, and be reliable with perfect attendance.
**Job Title:** Administrative Assistant / Front Desk Support
**Location:** Manhattan, NY
**Pay Range:** $20-$22 per hour
**Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm and 8am-4:30pm
**Duration:** Long-term contract (6–12 months, with potential for permanent conversion)
Key Responsibilities
+ Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate department or team member
+ Greet visitors and ensure a professional, welcoming front desk experience
+ Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document organization
+ Assist with coordinating and dispatching technicians as needed
+ Support additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
+ **Entry-level to 1+ year of administrative or office support experience preferred**
+ **Excellent computer skills; familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)**
+ **Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette**
+ Reliable, punctual, and eager to take on new responsibilities
+ Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
+ Interest in learning and growing within the company over time
