Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Production Support- Big Data to join their team. As a Production Support- Big Data, you will be part of the Operations team supporting credit risk platform production support, Big Data, Hadoop. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, analytical thinking, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Production Support- Big Data

**Location:** Plano, TX (7105 Corporate Drive)

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

+ Provide production support for credit risk platforms utilizing Big Data technologies

+ Monitor and troubleshoot Hadoop, Spark, and related systems to ensure optimal performance

+ Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to resolve issues efficiently

+ Assist in incident management, cluster maintenance, and disaster recovery procedures

+ Optimize queries and jobs to improve system resource utilization and performance

What's Needed?

+ Mid to senior level Software Engineer with experience in Production Support / DevOps teams

+ Proficiency in ETL, Hadoop, SQL, Spark, Unix, Hive, Impala, and data warehousing tools

+ Strong skills in Spark development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

+ Ability to analyze data and code for troubleshooting data quality and root causes

+ Understanding of incident management, cluster maintenance, and disaster recovery practices
