Our client, **a global leader in power generation and energy technology** , is seeking a **Materials Laboratory Technician** to join their team. As a Materials Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the **Materials Engineering Department** supporting **Materials Engineering and Testing Teams** . The ideal candidate will have **strong hands-on technical skills** , **attention to detail** , and **effective communication skills** , which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
+ Provide hands-on support for laboratory testing and evaluation of materials and components used in rotating electrical generators.
+ Prepare test samples using manual techniques and hand tools in an industrial laboratory setting.
+ Operate various laboratory testing equipment following established testing protocols.
+ Record, analyze, and communicate test results, observations, and findings to the Materials Engineering team.
+ Collaborate with engineering staff to support ongoing materials and component development projects.
What’s Needed?
+ Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering Technology (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials), Chemistry, Applied Physics, or a closely related discipline.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or laboratory environment (preferred).
+ Strong proficiency in hand skills, hand tools, and laboratory equipment operation.
+ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a laboratory team.
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
