Rework Technician

DIRECT HIRE ! (No Contract)

Job Description

As a Rework Technician, you will utilize soldering equipment to rework components on circuit boards, test for electrical continuity, and inspect PCBs for conformance with IPC-A-610 standards. You will document quality issues and collaborate with the engineering group for escalated defects.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize soldering equipment to rework components on circuit boards.

+ Test for electrical continuity.

+ Inspect PCBs for conformance with IPC-A-610 standards.

+ Document quality issues and collaborate with the engineering group for escalated defects.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in soldering and reworking components on circuit boards.

+ Ability to identify components based on a drawing or electrical diagram.

+ Experience with lead-free solder, both surface mount and thru-hole.

+ Proficient in electronic assembly and use of hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous rework experience with a wide variety of board designs and layouts.

+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

+ Proficient computer skills.

+ Experience working in an ERP system preferred.

+ Surface Mount and Thru Hole Soldering experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is a lean manufacturing setting that is clean, organized, bright, and fairly quiet, although some areas may have a paint-like smell. Employees may be required to lift up to 25 lbs. We are a leading electronics design and manufacturing provider in the Northwest, serving a range of industries from consumer products to highly technical fields such as Medical and Aviation/Space and Defense (ASD).

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Vancouver, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $54080.00/yr.
