Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Production Supervisor on a 2nd or 3rd shift with a 9/80 schedule. This role requires a hands-on approach to start up a new production line and effectively manage product runs. You will initially train on the 1st shift for one month to ensure a smooth transition. We seek passionate individuals eager to contribute to a company renowned for its innovative thermal management products.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise daily work activities of an assigned production team. (Team of 6-8 people to start)
+ Participate in the hiring process.
+ Reconcile and approve payroll time sheets bi-weekly.
+ Complete performance evaluations for all direct reports as per company policy.
+ Oversee and/or conduct training of new and existing employees.
+ Fabricate and test thermal products and support hardware.
+ Identify materials, both incoming and in-process, as required per material identification and inspection procedures.
+ Complete and maintain manufacturing travelers, as required.
+ Braze or solder thermal products and support hardware.
+ Act to assure product quality and customer satisfaction.
+ Perform in-process and final inspections, as required.
+ Follow Foreign Object Damage Protection procedures when working on Aerospace product contracts.
+ Keep work areas clean and organized.
+ Work as part of the team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
+ Monitor quality of incoming raw materials and finished products.
+ Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
+ Interpret or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
+ Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist production workers in solving work problems.
+ Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Essential Skills
+ Associate’s Degree from a 2-year college or technical school; or 2-5 years of related experience and/or training.
+ Technical and fabrication skills.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills.
+ Leadership ability and persuasiveness.
+ Good computer skills.
+ Supervisory or training experience in manufacturing.
+ Assembly, machining, or welding experience.
+ High attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ GED or Diploma.
+ Experience in brazing, inspection, soldering.
+ Use of Windows-based computer systems.
+ Experience in quality control, and assembly.
+ Authorized to work in the US.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57600.00 - $57600.00/yr.
