    Job Title: Visual Inspector** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Visual Inspector with computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP. The ideal candidate will be comfortable moving between different workstations, performing data entry, taking and uploading product photos, and recognizing discrepancies. Responsibilities also include updating check sheets and SOPs, monitoring and escalating quality issues, and assisting with audits. This role requires working alongside the production team, which may include some Saturdays.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform visual inspections of products, components, and materials using the human eye or specialized equipment to detect defects.

    + Enter data into company systems and maintain accurate records.

    + Take and upload photos of products and identify discrepancies.

    + Edit and update check sheets and SOPs.

    + Monitor, respond to, and escalate quality issues.

    + Enter material and finished product holds into QA Notify emails.

    + Assist with audits as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP.

    + Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately.

    + Experience in visual inspection or quality control.

    + Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in precision machine or sheet metal manufacturing, is a plus.

    + Ability to work the 3:30 PM - 12 AM shift.

    + Comfortable working Saturdays when required.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a temperature-controlled manufacturing facility, with potential for growth into a 3 million sqft campus. Employees are required to wear composite shoes.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.20 - $21.20/hr.
