Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will engage in electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework. You will be involved in testing and repairing various electronic products and mechanical assemblies. Your work will require you to interpret complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches. You will provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists and ensure the quality of finished products while meeting production deadlines.
Responsibilities
+ Perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework.
+ Test, modify, rework, repair, and build electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies.
+ Work from standard wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, and engineering specifications.
+ Provide technical support on standard components, devices, materials, products, processes, and/or equipment.
+ Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules.
+ Read, and possibly develop, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications.
+ Meet production deadlines and ensure the quality of finished products.
+ Comply with safety and quality regulations.
Essential Skills
+ Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
+ Experience handling small delicate components using ESD practices.
+ Soldering and wire bonding experience.
+ Experience in the safe handling of chemicals.
+ Proficiency in various computer applications, including Access and Excel.
+ Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
+ Good hand-eye coordination.
+ Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must provide a copy of a high school diploma
+ Experience in a cleanroom environment is beneficial.
+ Experience in long-term contracts is advantageous.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
