Job Title: General Production** **Job Description
Join our team as a General Production worker where you will be responsible for the efficient setup, adjustment, and operation of equipment to convert materials to established specifications. This role involves operating machinery, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform all duties necessary to set up, adjust, and operate one or more pieces of equipment, ensuring materials are converted to established specifications.
+ Select proper job supplies and verify material conformity to order requirements, loading or unloading as necessary and reporting discrepancies.
+ Transfer completed materials to skids, pallets, or containers, and repackage unused stock for proper storage.
+ Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness and order.
+ Package or prepare materials for shipment, tagging or labeling with required information and completing work orders and records.
+ Assist in monitoring required supplies, materials, and equipment, and fill out inventory use slips for stock material used.
+ Perform job within rated production standards and provide feedback to the supervisor when production standards are exceeded.
+ Comply with employment rules and regulations as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
+ Ensure all quality standards are met, tests performed, and data collection/documentation completed as required by the Quality Program.
+ Perform other duties as required by the supervisor or lead person.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of Machine Operator experience.
+ 2+ years of high-speed machine operator experience.
+ Ability to read and write effectively.
+ Proficiency in reading a tape measure and performing basic math.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with production, machine operation, and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to work independently and in small groups of 2-3.

Work Environment
Work in a large, clean manufacturing facility. The role primarily involves independent work, but collaboration in small groups of 2-3 may be necessary. Work hours are from 6pm to 6am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with openness to working during the week and on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
