Sales Manager – Wholesale
Base Salary: $95,000 – $125,000 + Performance-Based Bonuses
Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving wholesale revenue growth by developing new customer relationships, managing existing accounts, and increasing brand exposure across key markets. This role is highly front-facing and proactive, requiring active prospecting, strategic account development, and close collaboration with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop, expand, and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and key account customers
+ Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities within assigned territories
+ Prepare and present sales proposals, pricing, and product offerings to prospective customers
+ Collaborate with marketing, operations, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
+ Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
+ Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and reporting
+ Drive brand awareness and product exposure in alignment with company goals
Requirements
Qualifications
+ 3–6 years of sales experience in a wholesale environment
+ Proven success in a front-facing, relationship-driven sales role
+ Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities
+ Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
+ California-based candidates preferred, or candidates with prior California sales territory experience
+ Preferred but not required: experience in lighting, home décor, tabletop, home fragrance, or related consumer goods categories
