    We’re growing—and we’re looking for a motivated Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer with 1–4 years of experience to grow with us. If you love rolling up your sleeves, collaborating with smart people, and seeing your designs come to life in real buildings, this role was made for you.

     

    You’ll join a collaborative, fast‑moving team working on a wide range of impactful projects, partnering closely with architects, contractors, and multi‑disciplinary engineers to create safe, efficient, and code‑compliant building systems.

    What You’ll Do

    + Design and engineer plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems across a variety of building types

    + Perform on‑site inspections and evaluations, ensuring systems meet all applicable codes and safety standards

    + Collaborate daily with architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams for seamless system integration

    + Create detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

    + Complete engineering calculations, modeling, and simulations to optimize system performance and reliability

    + Provide technical support throughout construction and commissioning

    + Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with industry innovations, codes, and best practices

    What You Bring

    + 1–4 years of relevant professional experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineering

    + Hands‑on experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP design tools

    + Strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and design standards

    Nice‑to‑Have Skills

    + Experience on healthcare projects

    + Revit proficiency

    + Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts

    + EIT or PE certification, or actively working toward licensure

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mineola, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
