    Schedule: Less than 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

     

    What does a Mail Operations & Client Service Representative do?

     

    A Mail Operations Representative for Canandaigua National Bank’s Basin Park location is responsible for supporting the mail function at 1150 Basin Park. This position will also perform various clerical duties to support the client service function of the Wealth Management department. This role complies with operating policies and procedures established for the mail function, communicates with appropriate personnel, responds to inquiries or requests for information, while maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.

    + Supports the mail functions for 1150 Basin Park, sorts, delivers, stamps, and coordinates mail efforts for 1150 Basin Park.

    + Performs clerical duties such as electronic filing and data input.

    + Greets customers and visitors either in person or by telephone in a pleasant and courteous manner to provide a favorable first impression of CNC; directs them to the proper person or department.

    + Answers general questions and provides general information; directs more specific questions to proper individual.

    + Types letters, reports, memos, and other correspondence as requested; utilizes word processing to prepare documents as appropriate.

    + Files/Scans documents, correspondence, forms, reports, and other related information.

    + Performs special projects as directed

    + Responds to inquiries or requests for information within acceptable timeframes.

    + Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports.

    + Performs various operations functions requiring computer skills consistent with position requirements.

    + Retrieve, Reply and Send emails within acceptable timeframes. Maintain email inbox without exceeding Corporate Required Storage Limit.

    + Maintains Electronic Personal Calendar with updated scheduled time off. Responds to Electronic Meeting Requests Received.

     

    What is needed to be successful in this role?

     

    + A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

    + One (1) year in a customer service or related field and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Strong skills with Microsoft Office products.

    + Detail orientated, with the ability to work independently, with strict adherence to confidentiality.

    + Ability to stand, stoop, reach, bend and lift items weighing forty (40) lbs. or less.

    Compensation range - $18-$22/hr.

     

    The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations.
