As a Director – Platform, you will direct activities related to the planning, deployment, and operational support of the entroCIM platform across customer environments. Reporting to the Sr. Director, this role is accountable for meeting customer requirements for successful implementation and long-term service delivery, serving as a senior customer-facing leader that interfaces directly with Sales, customers, and internal stakeholders. You will lead cross-functional teams responsible for deployment engineering, integration support, project management, and IT/network support to deliver consistent, scalable, and secure deployments across on-premises and cloud-hosted environments. You will define operating standards, improve processes, enforce accountability, and ensure highly reliable and cost-effective delivery and support of the platform while aligning execution to organizational goals and best practices.

    Responsibilities:

+ Own end-to-end delivery accountability for customer deployments and post-deployment support of entroCIM, ensuring customer requirements, scope, timelines, and acceptance criteria are met.

+ Lead a multi-discipline organization spanning Deployment Engineering, Integration Support, Project Management, and IT/Network Support; build a culture of ownership, quality, and operational accountability.

+ Partner directly with Sales and customers to support pre-deployment planning, technical discovery, deployment approach, and customer readiness; serve as an executive escalation point for delivery and support.

+ Establish and enforce standardized deployment and support processes (runbooks, checklists, change control, release coordination, documentation standards) to improve predictability, repeatability, and quality.

+ Drive scalable operating practices for implementations across on-premises and cloud-hosted models, including environment standards, baseline configurations, hardening practices, and lifecycle maintenance.

+ Oversee integration delivery across OT/IoT systems commonly found in the built environment, ensuring reliable connectivity, data flow, and operational validation in customer environments.

+ Lead support operations for the platform post-deployment, ensuring timely issue resolution, accurate knowledge capture, clear escalation paths, and measurable service performance (e.g., SLA adherence, backlog health, root cause trends).

+ Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Software Development, Security, and IT to align deployment architectures, operational requirements, defect remediation priorities, and customer-impacting change management.

+ Manage budgets, staffing plans, vendor/partner dependencies, and capacity forecasting to ensure delivery commitments can be met while maintaining sustainable operations.

+ Define and track operational metrics for deployment throughput, quality, customer satisfaction, support responsiveness, and reliability; use data to drive continuous improvement.

    Qualifications:

+ Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields

+ 10 years of experience leading deployments across OT/IoT systems in the built environment (BMS/BAS, HVAC controls, metering/energy, lighting controls, access control, industrial gateways, edge compute, etc.) preferred.

+ Demonstrated experience interfacing with customers and Sales in a delivery capacity (technical discovery, deployment planning, executive escalation, and customer satisfaction).

+ Experience building/running a production support organization (ticket operations, SLA management, escalation frameworks, knowledge management, root cause analysis, continuous improvement).

+ Proven experience delivering and supporting platforms in both on-premises and cloud-hosted models, including networking, security, and operational requirements.

+ Knowledge of SkySpark or comparable operational analytics/automation platforms (or explicit willingness and demonstrated ability to learn quickly).

+ Experience managing managers and multiple teams; ability to drive process discipline and accountability in a growing organization.

+ 10 years experience in technical coordination, design, implementation, and management of enterprise applications (SaaS and On-Prem)

+ 5 years technical leadership experience for enterprise application technologies, SDLC, Agile Methodologies, Platform management and Vendor management

+ 5 years administrative experience including organization, planning, cost and benefit analysis, budgeting and project management, and evaluation

+ Excellent communication and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with leadership teams, and with the ability to build coalitions across organization

+ Strong knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies, Agile methodologies, change control, change management, and project management

+ Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capability

    + Strong customer service skills

+ Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
