Job Description Summary:

This position works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Virtual Health Leadership . This position is to ensure consistent and appropriate oversight of a patient demonstrating behaviors that put him/her at risk for treatment interruption, or a nonviolent patient with frequent needs for assistance.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Maintains visual observation of patients at all times.

Verbally redirects patient over digital 2-way audio device that is in patient room.

Immediately summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.

Participates in a collaborative identification and reporting of patient safety issues.

Demonstrates safe work practices and attitudes, follows safety rules, and works to prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)

Additional Job Description:

Customer Service Skills Effective communication skills Ability to focus on a particular subject or task for an extended period of time Ability to analyze, synthesize patient care information to formulate patient specific care recommendations Minimum of one years Experience in healthcare or service related industry is preferred.
