The Role
The Vendor Analytics & Automation Intern will support the Global IT Supplier & Service Management team by designing, building, and enhancing a unified platform that consolidates vendor management information across multiple systems. This role blends data engineering, automation, analytics, and AI-driven insights to streamline how vendor performance is monitored, evaluated, and reported.
The intern will work closely with Vendor Managers, Service Owners, and Data/Automation teams to gather data from existing enterprise tools, including ServiceNow and SharePoint and integrate it into a centralized, scalable solution. They will also develop automated vendor performance evaluations using AI models trained on Power BI datasets, scorecards, and Microsoft Forms–based questionnaires.
About the Team
As a Vendor Analytics & Automation Intern, you will work with the Global IT Supplier & Service Management team, an organization dedicated to modernizing how we manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and drive operational excellence across IT services. Our team plays a critical role in enabling smarter, data‑driven decisions by building automation, integrating data from platforms like ServiceNow and SharePoint, and applying AI to transform vendor performance evaluation.
Because we partner closely across IT, Procurement, Supplier Management, and business stakeholders, you will work on a wide range of impactful initiatives from creating unified platforms for vendor information, to automating performance scorecards, to leveraging Power BI and AI-driven insights to streamline evaluations. This team is at the forefront of transforming how we manage global suppliers, delivering high‑visibility solutions that directly support organizational effectiveness and service quality.

Job Responsibilities & Projects
+ A centralized vendor management information platform integrating multiple data sources.
+ A semi‑ or fully‑automated vendor performance evaluation process powered by AI and Power BI.
+ Dashboards and reporting mechanisms that uplift visibility and decision-making.
+ Documentation and repeatable processes that can be maintained by the team after the internship.
Required Experience & Skills
Technical Skills
+ Experience with scripting and relational databases and visualization tools from Microsoft, Google or Amazon.
+ Familiarity with automation tools.
+ Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts—predictive analytics, scoring models, text analysis.
+ Comfort with SharePoint lists, document libraries, permissions, and data connections.
+ Understanding of structured and unstructured data handling.
Soft Skills
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
+ Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
+ Clear communication and documentation habits.
+ Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools quickly.
Education (List required and/or preferred education)
+ Undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science or related field desired in progress or recently completed
Physical Demands
+ Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time
+ Lifting up to 55 pounds
+ Team lifting large objects such as servers using lifting equipment
