About the Team

PACCAR's Information Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA, utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide application systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector. This division has the critical responsibility for ensuring the health and availability of PACCAR’s business critical applications.

PACCAR is looking for a curious, creative and motivated individual passionate about information technology, with a special interest in learning about Cloud Environments and AI in the IT operations of this Fortune 200 company. During your internship with PACCAR, you'll have the opportunity to explore new technologies, work with technical teams and possibly lead projects. Our internship program is designed to give you real world experience and develop skills to help you succeed within the technology and Cloud industry.

About the Role

Projects may include:

+ Develop DevOps based solutions around continuous Integration and automated deployment of applications to cloud.

+ Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to containerize applications or build cloud network infrastructure.

+ Modernize and migrate application using Cloud PaaS services.

+ Apply Al/ML technology in DevOps processes.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Familiar with Git driven development

+ Experience with data analytics and visualization.

+ Knowledge using cloud PaaS services particularly in Azure.

+ Knowledge or experience with infrastructure-as-code (laC) or cloud templating languages using either Terraform, AWS cloud formation, Azure ARM templates or other equivalents.

+ Proficient in programming languages and scripting such as Python, C#, Java

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines

+ Experience with containers and container management platforms like Docker and Kubernetes

+ Familiar with scripting in Bash and/or Power Shell

+ Experience with IT automation languages like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

Education

+ Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

+ Undergraduate Enrollment - $25 / hour

+ Graduate Enrollment - $30 / hour
