Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is seeking to hire a Sr. UI/UX Designer. They are starting the process of re-designing the company's customer-facing website and mobile application. The main function of a UI/UX Designer is to design intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences that enhance usability and meet business goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.

• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize user interfaces.

• Design user flows and experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design with project goals.

• Apply design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across digital products.

• Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and evolving user needs.

Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers an hourly pay rate of $60-75/hr. This person is required to sit in downtown, Houston 4 days / week with Fridays working from home.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field required.

• 8-10 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

• Ability to conduct user research and translate findings into actionable design solutions.

• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.

• Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. • Experience in the utility industry
