    Description

    Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for a Tax Manager to join our client! This Tax Manager will be an expert in tax returns and financial statements, and have strong skills in Excel and tax software.     Your responsibilities in this role

     

    - Determine tax best business practices and relay to staff accountants and accounting managers

     

    - Review and supervise the preparation of quarterly tax projections, and communicate required estimated tax payments

     

    - Put together and review complex income tax returns

     

    - Help with compliance of tax and financial reporting procedures and policies

     

    - Produce and review tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits

     

    - Ensure accurate calculation of W-2s and 1099s and assist in distribution

     

    - Help with planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns

     

    - Help review all financial statements for quality control

     

    - Examine and oversee quarterly and annual payroll tax returns

    Requirements

    - CPA preferred

     

    - 5-7 years' experience in tax accounting

     

    - Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

     

    - 2+ years of supervisory experience
