    Description:

    General Summary

    Places food and beverage orders, delivers items to tables and ensures guests enjoy their visit to the coffee shop.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Takes accurate food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve food and beverage orders to guest tables according to venue specifications and to engage with guests in a professional courteous and efficient manner and complete side work.

    + Maintains knowledge of all restaurant menu options and answers guests’ questions about the menu.

    + Delivers food to guests, ensuring that the proper order was received and that beverages are refilled.

    + Communicates regularly with on-coming shift staff and the chef on duty to address issues and concerns.

    + Ensures that all food is served within health, safety and sanitation guidelines.

    + Attends training classes required by management.

    + Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

    + Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests

    Requirements:

    Job Specifications – Qualifications

     

    + Six months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.

    + Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.

    Working Conditions – Physical Requirements

    + Walking and standing (over 95% of the time).

    + Regularly required to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 35 lbs.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.
