    Coverage area: Pueblo County + 60 mile radius of branch

     

    Schedule: Full Time, Mon - Fri

    Responsibilities

    + Evaluate patient’s functional status and home environment

    + Identify equipment needs and participate in the development of the total plan of care

    + Develop treatment program and establish goals for improved function

    + Teach new skills, retrain in once familiar daily activity skills, fabricate splints, train in use of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices

    + Maintain appropriate clinical records and communication with other personnel involved in patient’s care

    + Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants according to organization policy and state regulations

    + Participate in discharge planning

    + Participate in case conference as required

    + Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements

    + Additional responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Graduate of an occupational therapist education program accredited by ACOTE with current licensure to practice in state of operation

    + 2+ years occupational therapy experience

    + Home health experience preferred

    + Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
