Our client, a leading organization in the payroll processing industry, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Temporary Payroll Specialist

**Location:** Iron Mountain, MI (Hybrid: M-Wed in office, Th/Fri Remote)

**Pay Range:** $25-$27/hr

What's the Job?

+ Process weekly payroll for both union and non-union employees.

+ File federal and state payroll taxes.

+ Upload retirement plan and HSA contributions.

+ Track wage changes per union contract.

+ Manage FMLA time and maintain employee files in the ERP system.

What's Needed?

+ Associates Degree in Accounting preferred.

+ Minimum three years of office experience in Accounting with one year of payroll experience preferred.

+ Experience with payroll processing.

+ Proficient in MS Office Suite.

+ Ability to work with individuals throughout the organization.
