    Job Description

    As a Vision Systems Technician I, you will play an integral role in maintaining and troubleshooting advanced vision systems within our production environment. This position offers competitive hourly wages, with additional shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

     

    + Operate and troubleshoot Omron or Keyence stand-alone vision controllers.

    + Utilize PC-based inspection systems and execute troubleshooting procedures for vision systems, including I/O boards, encoders, and light controllers.

    + Maintain and troubleshoot relay logic and control components such as photo eyes, proximity sensors, and limit switches.

    + Handle motion systems, including servo drives, frequency inverters, and linear drives.

    + Conduct basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Understand and implement inspection logic and flow.

    + Interpret and modify control system documentation.

    + Perform machine maintenance procedures.

    + Execute root cause analysis and document incident responses.

    + Adapt and troubleshoot effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with Omron or Keyence vision controllers.

    + Familiarity with PC-based inspection systems.

    + Proficient troubleshooting skills for vision systems, relay logic, and motion systems.

    + Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.

    + Ability to interpret control system documentation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    + 3 years of experience with vision inspection software.

    + Experience with automation systems and HMI interfaces.

    The work environment is expansive, requiring movement from building to building within the facility. The area is meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit. In specific departments, you will wear special attire including a garb and beard net. The company emphasizes a clean and organized environment, following the 5S3K principles.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Holland, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $77792.00/yr.

     

    The company offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start. They provide $110 per week for employees to pay for babysitting services through a user-friendly app.
