The Opportunity
The Sr Business Intelligence Analyst works onsite at our Austin, TX location in the Medical Device Division. As a Sr Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for development and implementation of reporting and analytical models in support of the commercial organization. You will be responsible for translating real-world, abstract business questions into business models that identify patterns and trends and provide actionable business insight. A combination of BI architecture and design best practices, data governance, BI tool knowledge and business and IT coordination skills are critical for success in this role.
What You’ll Work On:
+ Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions using tools such as Power BI or similar tools.
+ Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
+ Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional teams to understand and document business requirements.
+ Translate business requirements into technical and functional requirements documentation.
+ Create and manage dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making processes.
+ Create documentation in support of production dashboards.
+ Perform data validation and ensure data integrity.
+ Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and data interpretation.
+ Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
+ Demonstrated experience creating engaging dashboards that leverage best practices for visualization and user experience.
+ Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, DAX, Power BI Report Builder, and SQL.
+ Expertise in data modeling and ETL.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Comfortable working in newly forming, ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are key skills
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with cloud platforms, including Azure.
+ Experience with Power Apps..
+ Familiarity with AI Tools
+ Experience in the medical device industry
The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
