    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Marine Sheet Metal Mechanics** for projects located in **Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, WA.** This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate **up to $28-hr** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Design, Manufacture, install, and Repair Ventilation, Furniture, Lightweight Bulkheads, and Doors aboard Naval Vessels

    + Form sheet metal products using 225 ton press brake, power roller, manual roller, plasma cutter, and sheers

    + Perform CFM, volumetric testing

    + Assist in the assemble of ventilation runs in accordance with drawings, spec’s and meet Navy shipboard standard detail requirements

    + Assure that tank/ compartment has an updated safe for hot work ticket and that requirements of the ticket have been met

    + Other tasks as assigned

    Requirements:

    + 3+ years of Marine Sheet Metal Experience

    + Must be a US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen

    + Able to Pass a Drug Screen & Background Check

    + Must have Marine OSHA 10

    + Must have previous Marine Experience

    + Firewatch Certification
