Description We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Signal Hill, California. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in managing financial transactions, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and accuracy in data entry.

• Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments, in a timely manner.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate monthly reporting.

• Develop and maintain financial reports using advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, macros, and conditional formatting.

• Audit and monitor employee expense reports to ensure adherence to corporate policies.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address payment inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.

• Identify and implement improvements to accounts payable processes for greater efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and company procedures.

• Assist in the monthly closing process by managing the accounts payable sub-ledger. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial data management.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with vendors and team members.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
