+ Work alongside a collaborative 4 doctor team
+ We are a large hospital with state-of-the-art equipment and a large pet resort attached to the hospital.
+ 7 exam rooms including a cat specific room as well as a private comfort suite.
+ We offer digital radiographs, including dental radiographs.
+ Beautiful OR with several wet tables in our large treatment area which offers each doctor their own space to work in.
+ Our hospital has beautiful skylights and amazing natural lighting and we are just a couple of miles from the beach.
+ We are currently working towards all radiographs being hands free, our team is well trained in positioning and monitoring/recovering our patients during and after sedation.
+ Use fear free tactics as often as we can
+ Large lobby that will be split into 2 sections to provide a separate area for dogs and cats.
+ One of the only places in North County/San Diego that sees exotic pets and are a wildlife drop off center for Project Wildlife.
+ We have a close relationship with the San Diego Humane Society
_Schedule_
+ Full-Time, four 10 hour shifts per week
+ Will not consider someone looking to work 3 days per week
+ Hours of Operation: 7 days a week from 7:30am to 6:30pm
_Cases_
+ Patient mix: dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, all pocket pets (guinea pigs, rats, hamsters), chinchillas, rabbits, chickens, etc.

Compensation
+ The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $180,000.
+ Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
+ This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

_Qualifications_
+ A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
+ Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain
+ A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
