    Responsibilities

    RN Unit Manager Responsibilties:

    + Lead the development and execution of individualized nursing care plans

    + Coordinate interdisciplinary goals and approaches for resident health

    + Oversee staffing, performance management, and scheduling of clinical staff

    + Ensure your unit meets high standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization

    + Attend required training sessions and meetings

    + Recognize and encourage staff achievements and engagement

    + Contribute to ideas that enhance quality of care and operational excellence

    Qualifications

    RN Unit Manager Qualifications:

    + Active RN license in New York State (or applicable state of employment)

    + Minimumtwo (2) years of nursing experience, with at leastone (1) year in a leadership role

    + Current BLS/CPR certification

    + Experience or interest ingeriatricspreferred

    + Experience withdementia careis preferred

    + Demonstrated ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and collaboration

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills
