    As Senior Semiconductor Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing a team of engineers to develop and deliver high-performance navigation and sensor products for medical, commercial, defense, industrial, and space applications. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects and the delivery of innovative solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies.

     

    You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, Healthcare LOB and you'll work out of our Richardson location on a “on-site” work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, driving project execution, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your leadership and technical expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, enhancing efficiency, and delivering world-class products.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Lead and manage a team of engineers to develop and deliver high-performance sensing solutions and products

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution and ensure successful delivery of innovative solutions

    + Contribute to the R&D sensing strategy

    + Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex engineering problems

    + Support NPI performance in close coordination with Integrated Supply Chain

    + Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements

    + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering roles, with a focus on semiconductor development or related technologies

    • Strong leadership and team management skills

    •Experience with Semiconductor manufacturing or design

    •People Leadership experience

    •Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

    WE VALUE

    • Troubleshoot and offer technical solutions to complex issues in semiconductor design and manufacturing

    • Advanced degree in Engineering or related field

    • Experience with sensors, semiconductor engineering and packaging technologies

    • Understanding of in Healthcare and Industrial sensor applications

    •Proven track record of successfully leading engineering projects and teams

    • Passion for innovation and continuous learning

    • Experience with quality management systems and processes

    • Ability to lead by influence to direct/indirect reports

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 6+ years of experience of leading a semiconductor engineering team

    + Mastery of experience in advanced semiconductor design and product development

    + Proficiency in semiconductor design and simulation tools

    + Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and quality control

    WE VALUE

    + Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or related field

    + Proven ability to drive successful product development

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

    + Passion for innovation and continuous learning

    + Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability

    + Ability to lead by influence to direct/indirect reports
