Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operations of automated systems within the manufacturing or production environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated machinery, control systems, robotics, and instrumentation to support uninterrupted operations. You will collaborate closely with engineers, maintenance staff, and production teams to optimize system performance, implement improvements, and address technical challenges.

Responsibilities

+ Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated systems used in manufacturing or production environments.

+ Ensure all automated machinery, control systems, robotics, and instrumentation function efficiently and reliably.

+ Collaborate with engineers, maintenance staff, and production teams to optimize system performance.

+ Implement improvements and respond to technical issues to support uninterrupted operations.

Essential Skills

+ Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems, including Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), sensors, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and robotics.

+ Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

+ Proven troubleshooting skills in automation, robotics, and facilities maintenance.

+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in an automation technician role or industrial maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Associate degree or technical certification in Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

+ Experience in troubleshooting, repair, welding, fabrication, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Work Environment

Our work environment is flexible, with options for first shift starting around 5-6 am with 5-8 hour shifts, and second shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, with no overtime. Fridays typically involve 4-5 hours of mandatory overtime. Employees may choose to work additional shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A new facility is anticipated this year, enhancing the work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Beloit, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.

401k - 3% match

$5 premium for 2nd shift

3-5% annual raises

As we are a Hendrick company, we have great benefits, costs are lower, and only a $500 deductible for insurance. We also pay weekly.

The Tuition is $5000 per year with passing grades.
