**Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)** is seeking a Procurement Multi-Family Manager to support the Vertical Lift Supply Chain team in Mesa, AZ!
The Procurement Multi-Family Manager will work closely with a team of experienced Supply Chain Buyers and Analysts to drive the supply chain process while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of Supply Chain operations.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
+ Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes.
+ Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
+ Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
+ Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
+ Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
+ Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
+ Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 3+ years’ experience with Supplier Management or Procurement as a Purchasing Agent/Buyer
• 3+ years’ experience developing and implementing process improvements
• 3+ years’ experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 1 + years’ experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
• 1 + years’ experience working across multiple programs and locations
Shift:
This position will be on 1st shift
Travel:
This position may require travel up to 10% of the time

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $110,500 – $136,500
