    About this role:

    The Technology for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO) group is seeking a Lead Software Engineer. TCOO group provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office. This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. TCOO provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization.

     

    This Lead Software Engineer will support Consumer Lending Operations Technology and will act in this technical role as an individual contributor, leading other developers for the most complex computer applications and initiatives utilizing a thorough and functional understanding of available technologies and tools including but not limited to Java, Microservices, .Net, Kafka, Cloud.

    In this role, you will:

    + Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

    + Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

    + Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

    + Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

    + Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

    + Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

    + Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

    Required Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    + 5+ years of experience with full Software Development Life Cycle using Agile methodology

    + 5+ years of experience with J2EE

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Strong in experience in Java, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Kafka, ReactJS, Junit

    + Experience in Java Script .Net, SOAP, MQ Series, MS SQL and OCP

    + Experience in Small Talk is a PLUS

    + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

    + Experience creating sizing or work estimates

    + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

    + Experience with schedulers like Autosys

    + Experience with database data modeling

    + Experience in using source control tools

    + An industry-standard technology certification in Java

    + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent analytical, decision-making and troubleshooting skills.

    + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    + Experience in working for Financial Services Companies

    Job Expectations:

    + This position offers a hybrid work schedule - ability to work in office

    + This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

    Pay Ranges:

    Iselin, NJ: $143,000 - $183,500, $224,000

     

    Wilmington, DE: $131,000 - $168,500 - $206,000

     

    Pay Range

     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

     

    $131,000.00 - $224,000.00
